In a strong demonstration of its ongoing commitment to supporting investment in KwaZulu-Natal, Sappi Southern Africa has pledged to invest R10.8 billion in the province over the next five years. This significant pledge was announced by SappiSA CEO Alex Thiel at the KZN Investment Conference, held at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli ICC in Durban on 11 and 12 November 2024.

International Print Day falls on 23 October. It is a day that acknowledges the importance of print in a variety of contexts. In this opinion piece, Samantha Choles, communications manager for the Paper Manufacturers Association of South Africa, shares why print is not dead, it’s different, and why ‘going paperless’ is a myth that needs to be busted.

The traditional medicine trade in South Africa is worth a whopping R2.9 billion each year, making up 5.6% of the National Health budget.
